Our Story
My name is Brayden Robinson, and I’m a local student right here in Sarnia. About a year ago, I found myself in a position a lot of young people in our town know all too well: sending out resume after resume and getting total radio silence back. I spent a full year applying everywhere I could, only to realize just how brutally tough the job market has become for students looking for a break.
After months of waiting for an opportunity that wasn't coming, I decided to stop waiting and build one myself.
I picked up a few basic tools and started asking around. I made simple posts on local Facebook groups asking a straightforward question: Does anyone need a hand with their yard?
At first, it was as grassroots as it gets. I was pulling weeds for an hour here, mowing a small lawn there, taking whatever small jobs came my way. But then something incredible happened—Sarnia responded. Neighborhood by neighborhood, people started trusting us with their properties.
Today, that humble hustle has transformed into 4 Studs Landscaping
We’ve grown from basic lawn care to taking on full landscape projects. These jobs give our crew hands-on experience, practical problem-solving skills, and the kind of real-world work ethic that sets a person up for adulthood.
Our goal is to build an all-year-round, all-season business with a clear mission: to exclusively hire local Sarnia students who are struggling to find work. Now at 4Studz we have two good reliable workers, and two new workers being trained just like we were!
Whether it's summer landscaping, fall cleanups, or winter snow removal, we want to ensure young people in our community always have a place to earn, learn, and grow—no matter how tough the job market gets.
